Templates in Menus

I think it would be a nice feature if we could use templates as menu items, for example to display post loops in a megamenu. This would be especially helpful for existing websites, e.g. if the structure of the header was created with a ready-made theme and you don’t want to build the header from scratch.
Otherwise you have to install an additonal plugin in order to be able to use templates as menu items (e.g. “Shortcodes in Menus”).
